The bottom line is; if you have an older computer that has Windows 98 and it isn’t running so well you may not be out of luck. However beware, computers with Windows 98 installed are usually, absolutely prehistoric. In other words, they usually have an early Pentium microprocessor or possibly a Pentium II with a 2.2 GHz hard drive and 128K of RAM. They may run, or should we say crawl at about 300 MHz of speed. Therefore, a Windows 98 computer system running to all as potential will probably not be what you would be used to if you have been using a computer less than three years old.
Still, a PC with Windows 98 installed, though it may be considered a real dinosaur, can be useful and certainly it will bring back memories. Aside from that, why throw it out when it may be a $30 registry cleaner will revamp it entirely.
